The structure and sliding conditions of ski snowboard are very similar to those of alpine board, but the playing methods (skills) and equipment are different. Snowboards are generally divided into three categories:
1. Swivel board: The tip of the board is slightly tilted downwards. The board, especially the waist part, is relatively narrow. Basically, it only slides on the snow track, which is suitable for slewing and competition.
2. Easy-to-manipulate board: The multi-functional all-round board can not only slide on the snow track, but also slide in deep snow. The front and rear ends of this board are tilted up, but the direction is still very clear.
3. Freestyle board: used for skill skiing in jumping, spinning and other ways.
4. Skateboard length: The proper length of the skateboard depends on the skiing method, height and weight. Most people need the skateboard length to reach near his chin or lips. Longer for deep snow or competition boards; shorter for freestyle or figure boards; longer, stiffer boards for fatter skiers; shorter, softer boards for thinner skiers .
5. Skateboard width: Width is another very important factor in selecting a veneer. Women and men with small feet should use narrow boards, and men with large feet should use wide boards. The basic rule is: when standing on the skateboard, the boot should be flush or slightly over the edge.
6. Skateboard size: hold the back end of the skateboard, and the short skateboard should reach between the neckline and chin of the skier. Because shorter skateboards are easier to maneuver, they are more suitable for beginners and people who like to play tricks and pipe skiing; long skateboards should be controlled from the length of the eyes to a few centimeters above the top of the head. Long skateboards are suitable for high-speed cutting; deep snow and mountainous terrain.
